Breeding Objective:
To produce bulls that are frame score 5-7, ‘B’ muscled and have an easy doing constitution.
Our selection criteria goes beyond this with heavy emphasis placed on fertility, structural soundness, temperament, calving ease, Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) and DNA markers for tenderness.
For our commercial clients, this means they can target their choice of market in Western Australia with more confidence, knowing they have the depth of pedigree required to sire a consistent line of cattle.
Summary 2011 Annual Production Sale
Break down of 'E' bulls offerred during 2011. Bulls sold between $2500-$8250 with the vast majority in the top 10 percent for 400 Day Growth and Retail Beef Yield. We were very pleased with the support from repeat and new buyers from both commercial and stud herds.
Bundaleer Lolita A37
Peter and Margaret Smith from the Cassino Murray Grey Stud secured Bundaleer Lolita A37 and bull calf Freight Liner F78 for $4000 at the 2011 Murray Grey National Show and Sale. It was the first outing for Bundaleer offering genetics at the Murray Grey National Show and Sale in celebration of registering over 100 Bundaleer Lolita's.
