Long standing Stud Stock Auctioneer John Wirth from Landmark considered him pick of the 80 Murray Grey bulls offered by Monterey and Tullibardine. And, post sale comments from commercial beef producers we believe Freight Train’s type is on track for WA beef production.Described by Gary Buller as a very impressive, well built bull with terrific volume and muscle development. Both his sire and dam are highly productive animals and his dam is still breeding at 18 yrs. Will grow into a big bull with huge volume.

We believe Freight Train will complement our breeding program where he will be used for his type, constitution, longevity and performance. We consider he will have the propensity to fulfil our breeding objective, that is, to produce bulls that are frame score 5-7, ‘B’ muscled and have an easy doing constitution. We will use him over mostly Willalooka Mainbreak V856 daughters and our larger framed mature matrons.

Looking ahead, we consider his sons will sell easily and his daughters will be productive middle of the road matrons (FS 5-7) that will thump out commercially orientated progeny.
