Top of Wallawong Heads West

Her sire Lindsay Starbright S117 has sired the top price bull/s three years running at Wallawong’s, (NSW) Annual Production Sale. Steer progeny have also ranked in the top 10% for the Hoof and Hook competition at the Sydney Royal Show.
We consider Caldora C14s figures exceptional i.e. low to moderate birth weight, high 400 Day Growth, above breed average for milk and an EMA at the top-end of the breed. She pushes the boundaries of genetic progress that are possible within the breed’s gene pool and we are very pleased to be able to secure such good genetics. Whilst we did not attend the sale we where happy to go on Lachlan’s phenotype appraisal and recommendations.
We also purchased Wallawong Gale by Banksia Ridge Zorro Z7, semen in this bull has been exported to the USA. Her dam is rated as ‘one of the favourites’, Gale the 6th displays an easy doing constitution, good length and we look forward to seeing how they perform compared to our ‘C’ females.
