Breeding Objective:
To produce bulls that are frame score 5-7, ‘B’ muscled and have an easy doing constitution.
Our selection criteria goes beyond this with heavy emphasis placed on fertility, structural soundness, temperament, calving ease, Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) and DNA markers for tenderness.
For our commercial clients, this means they can target their choice of market in Western Australia with more confidence, knowing they have the depth of pedigree required to sire a consistent line of cattle.
2012 Annual Production Sale
The 4th Annual Production Sale will be held on-farm at Karridale Western Australia commencing at 12.30pm Western Standard Time (WST). 20 'F' drop bulls, 20 stud Murray Grey Femalesa along with a selection of semen lots will go under the hammer. Summary 2011 Annual Production Sale
Break down of 'E' bulls offerred during 2011. Bulls sold between $2500-$8250 with the vast majority in the top 10 percent for 400 Day Growth and Retail Beef Yield. We were very pleased with the support from repeat and new buyers from both commercial and stud herds.
